It is a preservative free contact lens saline, indicated for use following proper lens disinfection as recommended by the eye care practitioner. It is used for rinsing soft (hydrophilic), rigid gas permeable and hard contact lenses prior to lens insertion, as an insertion solution for large diameter (scleral) contact lenses, and as a rinse for contact lens cases. It may also be used as needed throughout the day to rinse contact lenses.

PuriLens Plus Preservative Free Saline is a sterile, non-preserved, aqueous, isotonic solution of sodium chloride, buffered with boric acid and sodium borate. This pack contains 12 bottles of 4 fl oz (120 mL). The solution is sterilized and packaged using aseptic processing (blow fill seal) and is free from chlorhexidine, thimerosal and other mercury containing compounds.

3-Pack of 4 oz Bottles

PuriLens Mini Preservative Free Saline is a sterile, non-preserved, aqueous, isotonic solution of sodium chloride, buffered with boric acid and sodium borate. This pack contains 6 bottles of 2 fl oz (60 mL). The solution is sterilized and packaged using aseptic processing (blow fill seal) and is free from chlorhexidine, thimerosal and other mercury containing compounds.

How to Use

1. Remove the cap and discard the white plastic restraining ring. The ring is included to prevent punctures during shipping and is not attached to the bottle.
2. Turn the cap clockwise to pierce the container.
3. Avoid touching the tip of the bottle to prevent contamination.
4. After lens disinfection, hold the lens between your forefinger and thumb and direct a steady stream of solution onto the lens for ten seconds.
5. To use as an insertion solution for a scleral lens, fill the bowl of the lens before insertion.
6. To rinse a contact lens case, rinse the case with the solution.
7. Reclose the bottle after each use.
8. Discard any remaining solution 14 days after opening.

Warnings

• For external use only. Not for injection.
• Do not reuse solution. Discard after 14 days.
• Never transfer saline solution to another container.
• Do not store lenses in water or any non-sterile solution.
• Avoid contamination by keeping the bottle tip clean.
• Use before the expiration date printed on the bottle.
• If you experience eye stinging, burning or itching, excessive watering of the eyes, unusual eye secretions, redness, blurred vision, discomfort, or sensitivity to light, remove your lenses and consult your eye care provider immediately.
