Description

MELATONIN Melatonin is a hormone primarily released by the pineal gland at night and has long been associated with control of the sleep-wake cycle. As a dietary supplement, it is often used for the short-term treatment of insomnia, such as from jet lag or shift work, and is typically taken orally. CHAMOMILE The use of chamomile extract can significantly improve sleep quality among elderly people. Thus, it can be used as a safe modality for promoting elderly people's sleep. VALERIAN ROOT Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is an herb native to Europe and parts of Asia. Valerian root has a long history of use as a sedative. Valerian can grow to be just over 6 feet tall and has a strong odor. It seems to act as a sedative in the brain and nervous system. GABA Gamma-Aminobutyric acid, γ-aminobutyric acid, or GABA, is the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter in the developmentally mature mammalian central nervous system. Its principal role is reducing neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system. GABA is sold as a dietary supplement in many countries.

I love the taste of the drink, overall I also feel better. The cost is the only reason Dry Eyes is not rated the highest.

Taste is fine, but it seems to give me a bit of acid build-up in my stomach.

    Great Alternative

I’ve tried the capsules, they were too large to swallow for me. I tried the liquid, it left an after taste. The Dry Eye Drink Hyper Hydration was easier to take - no after taste and it comes in four flavors.

Good flavor, price is very competitive and I’m using it for Dry Eye symptoms as well as as to enhance hydration- I had a very painful blocked salivary gland a few months ago and dehydration was the cause. I’m doing everything I can for my eyes and to stay hydrated.
