About the Product

The Eye Doctor Premium is a reusable microwavable compress that covers both closed eyes, with a removable and washable outer cover and an adjustable head strap. It is filled with BodyBeads self hydrating technology, and the fabric carries the patented Sterileyes treatment together with Polygiene Stay-Fresh Technology. The pack contains the compress, six eyelid wipes, a storage pouch and an instruction booklet covering the eyelid massage technique. The compress lasts a minimum of 365 uses, which is once a day for a year.

This is a warm compress used as part of a daily eyelid hygiene routine. It is heated in a microwave and rested over the closed eyelids for 7 to 10 minutes, followed by a short eyelid massage and a wipe. The outer cover lifts off for hand washing between uses, and the compress can also be frozen and used cold.

Specifications

How to Use

1. Heat in a microwave for no longer than the time given for your microwave wattage. Be careful when removing from the microwave and do not overheat.
2. Check the temperature against the inside of your wrist before applying the compress to closed eyes.
3. Tie the strap around your head and adjust for your personal comfort.
4. Sit back and relax for 7 to 10 minutes.
5. After the heat has expelled secretions from your eye glands, massage it away using your fingertip, 3 to 4 times along each eyelid, stroking downward on the upper lids and upward on the lower lids.
6. Wipe away secretions with The Eye Doctor Lid Wipe or a clean tissue.

For cold use, place the compress in a plastic bag and freeze for at least 2 hours. Allow it to reach room temperature before reheating.

Care and Cleaning

Wash the outer cover by hand in warm water and dry it keeping flat. Do not use any detergents. Do not wet or wash the inner bag. Make sure the outer cover is completely dry before reusing it.

Inspect The Eye Doctor at regular intervals and discard if found to be worn, damaged or if it has been repeatedly overheated. The compress lasts a minimum of 365 uses and should be disposed of through normal household waste.
