About the Product

renu Advanced Formula multi-purpose solution is a sterile, isotonic solution supplied here as a twin pack of two 12 Fl. Oz. (355 mL) plastic bottles. It is preserved with a triple disinfectant system of polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00005%, polyquaternium 0.00015% and alexidine 0.0002%.

It is a multi-purpose contact lens solution indicated for use in the daily conditioning, cleaning, removal of protein deposits, rinsing, chemical (not heat) disinfection, and storage of soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel contact lenses. One bottle covers the full daily routine of rubbing, rinsing and soaking, and lenses are soaked for at least 4 hours in a filled lens case before wear.

Materials

• Poloxamine and poloxamer 181 The cleaning agents in the formula.
• Sodium chloride The salt that makes the solution isotonic.
• Boric acid and sodium borate The buffer components of the solution.

Full Ingredient List

A sterile, isotonic solution that contains poloxamine, poloxamer 181, diglycine, sodium citrate, boric acid, sodium borate, edetate disodium and sodium chloride and preserved with a triple disinfectant system (polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00005%, polyquaternium 0.00015% and alexidine 0.0002%).

What Is Included

• Two bottles of renu Advanced Formula multi-purpose solution, 12 Fl. Oz. (355 mL) each

How to Use

1. Place at least 3 drops of renu Advanced Formula multi-purpose solution on each side of the lens surface and gently rub for 20 seconds.
2. Thoroughly rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with renu Advanced Formula multi-purpose solution.
3. Place the cleaned contact lenses in the lens case and fill with fresh renu Advanced Formula multi-purpose solution. Soak at least 4 hours.
4. Discard solution from the lens case after each use.
5. Lenses may be stored in the unopened case until ready to wear, up to a maximum of 30 days.
6. Discard any remaining solution 90 days after opening.

Warnings

• PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES AND LENS CARE PRODUCTS COULD RESULT IN CORNEAL INFECTION AND/OR ULCER AND LEAD TO LOSS OF VISION.
• Do not store your lenses in simple saline in place of renu Advanced Formula multi-purpose solution. Saline solution will not disinfect.
• Never use water, saline solution, or rewetting drops to disinfect your lenses. These solutions will not disinfect your lenses. Not using the recommended disinfectant can lead to severe infection, vision loss or blindness.
• Failure to discard solution from the lens case after each use, topping off solution or use of water to care for your lenses may lead to contamination resulting in eye injury and potential loss of vision.
• Using your multi-purpose solution beyond the discard date could result in contamination of the solution and can lead to severe infection, vision loss or blindness.
• Do not expose or store your lenses in or rinse your lens case with any water, such as tap, bottled or distilled, or with any non-sterile solution.
• Not for use with heat (thermal) disinfection.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store solution at room temperature. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Use before the expiration date marked on the carton and bottle. Discard any remaining solution 90 days after opening.
