About the Product
This is a single reusable eye mask that can be warmed in a microwave or chilled in a freezer. The box contains the mask with a washable slipcover and velcro strap, a Thermapod heat diffusing insert, an Instant Heat Pocket, and two OCuSOFT Lid Scrub packets. The mask is filled with silica beads, which draw moisture from the air and release it as moist heat when the mask is warmed.
This is a warm compress for the closed eyelids, used as part of a daily eyelid routine. Warmed in a microwave for 20 seconds, it is applied for 10 minutes or as prescribed by a doctor. The same mask can be placed in the freezer for 30 minutes and used as a cold compress instead.
Materials
- Silica beads The fill inside the mask. They attract moisture from the air and release it when the mask is heated, which is what makes the heat moist.
- Thermapod heat diffusing insert A separate insert supplied with the mask and used with it during heating.
- Washable slipcover A removable fabric cover with a velcro strap that holds the mask in place.

How to Use
- Microwave mask for 20 seconds. To increase heat, add an additional 5 seconds. DO NOT exceed 30 seconds.
- Always touch test before placing it over your closed eyes. If the mask feels too hot, wait 1 to 2 minutes before reapplying it.
- Apply for 10 minutes or as prescribed by your doctor.
- If reusing the mask within 30 minutes, reduce the heating time by half.
- For cold use, place the mask in the freezer for 30 minutes instead of heating it.
Care and Cleaning
- Hand wash the Instant Heat Pocket with cold water.
- The slipcover is removable and washable.
Warnings
- Always touch test before placing the mask over your closed eyes.
- If the mask feels too hot, wait 1 to 2 minutes before reapplying it.
- Do not exceed 30 seconds in the microwave.
