About the Product

Biotrue multi-purpose solution is a sterile, isotonic contact lens care solution. This pack contains two 10 fl oz (296 mL) bottles, 20 fl oz (592 mL) in total. Biotrue multi-purpose solution is indicated for conditioning, cleaning, removing protein deposits, rinsing, chemical (not heat) disinfection and storage of soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel contact lenses.

This is the all in one lens care solution used in a daily soft lens routine: one bottle rinses lenses before wear, and cleans, disinfects and stores them in the lens case between wears, so no separate cleaner, rinse or storage solution is needed. Each cycle is a 20 second rub on each side, a 5 second rinse on each side, and at least 4 hours of soaking in fresh solution.

Materials

• Hyaluronan A moisturizer found naturally in tears.
• Sulfobetaine and poloxamine The surfactant components of the solution.
• Boric acid, sodium borate and sodium chloride Buffering and tonicity agents that make the solution isotonic.
• Polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00013% and polyquaternium 0.0001% The dual disinfection system the solution is preserved with.

A sterile, isotonic solution containing hyaluronan, sulfobetaine, poloxamine, boric acid, sodium borate, edetate disodium and sodium chloride, preserved with a dual disinfection system (polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00013% and polyquaternium 0.0001%).

Specifications

How to Use

1. Place at least 3 drops of Biotrue multi-purpose solution on each side of lens surface and gently rub for 20 seconds.
2. Thoroughly rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with Biotrue multi-purpose solution.
3. Place cleaned contact lenses in the lens case and fill with fresh Biotrue multi-purpose solution. Soak at least 4 hours.

Care and Cleaning

Clean, rinse and air-dry your lens case each time you remove your lenses. Replace your lens case frequently.

Warnings

PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES AND LENS CARE PRODUCTS COULD RESULT IN CORNEAL INFECTION AND/OR ULCER AND LEAD TO LOSS OF VISION.

• Daily wear lenses are not indicated for overnight wear, and should not be worn while sleeping.
• Extended wear lenses should be removed regularly.
• Smokers have a higher risk of problems with contact lenses and lens care products.
• Remove your lenses immediately if you experience discomfort, excessive tearing, changes in vision, or redness of the eye.
• You should follow the complete recommended lens rubbing and rinsing times in the product labeling to adequately disinfect your lenses.
• You should fill your lens case with fresh solution every time you store your lenses, and never top-off or re-use solution.
• You should not expose or store your lenses in or rinse your lens case with any water, such as tap, bottled or distilled.
• Do not use with heat (thermal) disinfection.
• Lenses may be stored in the unopened case until ready to wear, up to a maximum of 30 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store solution at room temperature. Discard any remaining solution 90 days after opening the bottle. Use before the expiration date marked on the carton and bottle.
