About the Product

A twin pack of Clear Care Triple Action Cleaning, a one step 3% hydrogen peroxide cleaning and disinfecting system for contact lenses. The pack holds two 12 oz (355 mL) bottles and two lens cases, each with a built in platinum neutralizing disc. The formula is preservative free and does not contain HydraGlyde.

This is a peroxide lens care system rather than a multi purpose solution, used once a day in place of one, for all soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Lenses are placed in the baskets of the supplied case, rinsed for 5 seconds, and left to soak overnight or for at least 6 hours while the platinum disc in the base of the case sets off a bubbling action that neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide. Until that cycle is finished the solution is not neutralised, which is why the bottle carries a red cap and the words Not for direct use on eye.

Materials

• Hydrogen peroxide 3% The cleaning and disinfecting agent, micro filtered, converted to a saline solution by the catalytic disc in the supplied case.
• Sodium chloride 0.79% The salt that sets the tonicity of the neutralised solution.
• PLURONIC 17R4 A surfactant, the cleaning agent in the formula.
• Phosphonic acid The stabiliser for the hydrogen peroxide.
• Phosphate buffered system The buffer system of the formula.

Sterile solution containing micro-filtered hydrogen peroxide 3%, sodium chloride 0.79%, stabilized with phosphonic acid, a phosphate buffered system, and PLURONIC 17R4 (a cleaning agent).

Specifications

How to Use

1. Wash, rinse and dry your hands.
2. Place lenses in baskets and rinse for 5 seconds with solution.
3. Fill the lens case to the line with the solution.
4. Soak overnight, or for at least 6 HOURS.
5. Always store the lid upside down to avoid contamination.

Care and Cleaning

Discard the used solution after each cycle and rinse the lens case. Use only the lens case supplied with the solution, never a flat case. The supplied lens case consists of a transparent cup and a connected unit of screw cap, lens holders (baskets) and the neutralizer catalyst disc attached at the bottom. The platinum disc activates a bubbling action and neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide.

Warnings

• Not for direct use on eye. If non-neutralized Clear Care gets into your eyes, it will cause burning and stinging.
• Remove your contact lenses immediately and flush eyes with a large amount of water or sterile saline. Seek immediate assistance from an eye care professional.
• Never put non-neutralized Clear Care directly into your eyes.
• That red cap means you should never put CLEAR CARE Solution directly in or around your eyes.
• Do not remove lenses from case for at least 6 hours.
• Do not use a flat lens case. Only use Clear Care with the special lens case provided.
• Keep Clear Care out of reach of children.
