What the panel does
Dry Eye Rescue content is reviewed by the DER Medical Advisory Panel, a group of eye care professionals focused on dry eye and ocular surface care. The panel exists to keep patient education accurate, current and useful, and to make sure the guidance on this site reflects how eye care professionals actually approach these conditions in practice.
Panel members review educational content. They do not sell products, they do not endorse individual brands, and their review does not constitute medical advice for any individual reader.
Why it matters
Eye care information online is uneven. Symptoms overlap, marketing language blurs into clinical language, and a person searching for help with a burning or gritty eye can easily end up with the wrong product or a delayed diagnosis. Reviewing content against clinical practice is the simplest way to reduce that risk.
Dry Eye Rescue has been eye-doctor-owned since it was built in 2019, and works with a network of over 5,000 eye care professionals who refer their patients to us. The panel is an extension of that relationship.
What review does not mean
