TheraTears Dry Eye Therapy Lubricant Eye Drops

About the Product

TheraTears Dry Eye Therapy Lubricant Eye Drops are supplied in a 15 mL multi-use bottle. The active ingredient is sodium carboxymethylcellulose 0.25%, an eye lubricant. The formula is hypotonic and electrolyte balanced, and it contains sodium perborate.

One or two drops are instilled in the affected eye or eyes as needed, so the bottle can sit in a bag or on a desk and be used through the day. The bottle is discarded 45 days after opening.

Uses

As a lubricant to relieve dryness of the eye. As a protectant against further irritation of the eye. For temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort including exposure to wind or sun.

Boric acid, calcium chloride, diethylenetriamine pentamethylene phosphonic acid, hydrochloric acid, magnesium chloride, phosphonic acid, potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, sodium perborate, sodium phosphate, water.

How to Use

1. Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.
2. After use and prior to re-capping, shake any residual product from the dropper tip.

Warnings

For external use only. To avoid contamination do not touch tip of opened container to any surface. Replace cap after using.

Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy.

Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation. Condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Storage

Store between 15-25C (59-77F). Discard 45 days after opening.
