About the Product

Systane Hydration PF Preservative Free Lubricant Eye Drops is a sterile ocular lubricant supplied in a 10 mL (0.34 fl oz) multidose dropper bottle. It has two active ingredients, polyethylene glycol 400 0.4% and propylene glycol 0.3%, both eye lubricants. The formula is preservative free, and its inactive ingredients include sodium hyaluronate and hydroxypropyl guar. It can be used with soft contact lenses and is not a rewetting drop.

This is the preservative free option in the over the counter ocular lubricant category, in a multidose bottle rather than single use vials, so one bottle covers repeated dosing through the day without a vial to open each time. One or two drops go into the affected eye as needed, and the bottle is discarded 90 days after opening.

Uses

for use as a protectant against further irritation or to relieve dryness of the eye

Active Ingredients

• Polyethylene Glycol 400, 0.4% An eye lubricant, and one of the two actives that give the solution its lubricating body.
• Propylene Glycol, 0.3% An eye lubricant, and a humectant that holds water in the formula.

Inactive Ingredients

Aminomethylpropanol, boric acid, hydroxypropyl guar, potassium chloride, purified water, sodium borate, sodium chloride, sodium hyaluronate, sorbitol. May contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.

How to Use

1. Put 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.
2. Replace the cap after each use.
3. Discard 90 days after opening.

• if this product changes color or becomes cloudy
• if you are sensitive to any ingredient in this product

When using this product

• do not touch tip of container to any surface to avoid contamination
• replace cap after each use

Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience any of the following

• eye pain
• changes in vision
• continued redness or irritation of the eye
• condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours

If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
