About the Product

PreserVision AREDS 2 Formula MiniGels is a dietary supplement supplied as small soft gels in a bottle of 120. The daily dose is two soft gels. That daily dose supplies 500 mg of vitamin C, 180 mg of vitamin E (400 IU), 80 mg of zinc, 2 mg of copper, 10 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zeaxanthin.

This is an eye vitamin and mineral supplement taken daily on an ongoing basis rather than as needed. One soft gel is taken in the morning and one in the evening, both with food, so a bottle of 120 covers 60 days at the directed dose. The soft gels are made small for swallowing, which is where the MiniGels name comes from.

Key Ingredients

• Lutein 10 mg and zeaxanthin 2 mg Carotenoids, supplied in this formula from marigold flower extract and added zeaxanthin.
• Vitamin C 500 mg Present as ascorbic acid, the largest single nutrient by weight in the daily dose.
• Vitamin E 180 mg (400 IU) Present as dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate, a fat soluble form carried in the soft gel fill.
• Zinc 80 mg with copper 2 mg Minerals supplied as zinc oxide and cupric oxide, paired in the formula so that copper accompanies the zinc.

Other Ingredients

Ascorbic acid, dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate, gelatin, glycerin, zinc oxide, marigold flower extract, medium chain triglycerides, carmine, zeaxanthin, cupric oxide, titanium dioxide.

How to Use

Take 2 soft gels daily with food; 1 in the morning, 1 in the evening.

Warnings

Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency. If you are unsure whether you are taking enough copper, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
