Optase Daily Routine Dry Eye Bundle (Drop, Wipe, PM Ointment)

About the Product

This bundle brings together three OPTASE products. The OPTASE TTO Lid Wipes are supplied as 20 individually wrapped sterile wipes in a travel pouch. The OPTASE MGD Advanced Drops are a preservative free lipid based eye lubricant with glycerin at 9 mg in 1 mL as the active ingredient. The OPTASE HYLO NIGHT Eye Ointment is an eye lubricant ointment with white petrolatum and mineral oil, lanolin and light mineral oil as active ingredients. The bottle and tube sizes supplied in this bundle are not published.

Because the bundle contains two over the counter eye lubricants, the whole bundle is handled as an OTC drug. The three items are arranged as a day and night routine: the wipe cleanses the lids and lashes, the drops are used through the day as needed, and the ointment is the last step before sleep.

The following uses apply to the OPTASE MGD Advanced Drops.

• For use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation.
• May be used as a protectant against further irritation.
• To relieve dryness of the eye.

What Is Included

• OPTASE TTO Lid Wipes 20 individually wrapped sterile wipes, supplied in a travel pouch.
• OPTASE MGD Advanced Drops A preservative free lipid based eye lubricant, glycerin 9 mg in 1 mL.
• OPTASE HYLO NIGHT Eye Ointment An eye lubricant ointment for night time use.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands thoroughly. Remove a wipe from its sachet and wrap over your index finger.
2. Close your eye and move the wipe gently across the eyelid and lashes from side to side several times, then dispose of the wipe. Open a fresh wipe and repeat the process for your other eye.
3. For the MGD Advanced Drops, put one or two drops in the affected eyes as needed.
4. After using the drops, shake the bottle downwards in order to remove any residual drop that may be left. Replace cap after using.
5. Use the HYLO NIGHT Eye Ointment as the last step before sleep, following the directions on the carton and leaflet.

Warnings

The following warnings apply to the OPTASE MGD Advanced Drops.

• For external use only.
• To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. After use, shake the bottle downwards in order to remove any residual drop that may be left. Replace cap after using.
• Do not use the solution if it changes color or becomes cloudy.

Stop use and ask doctor if

• You feel eye pain.
• Changes in vision occur.
• Redness or irritation of the eye lasts.
• Condition worsens or lasts more than 72 hours.

Keep Out of Reach of Children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
