Product Information
About the Product
The Tranquileyes XL is a goggle system. The goggle has plastic eye covers with attached foam and an adjustable strap, and it takes removable inserts that sit in fabric pockets behind each eye cup. This kit ships with both insert types: one pair of Thermoeyes XL Beads, which are glycerin based and are heated in the microwave, and three pairs of Thermoeyes XL Instants, which are sodium acetate gel packs that self heat when the disc inside is clicked and are reset by boiling. A mesh wash bag and a microfiber storage bag are included.
This is the warm compress category, in a goggle format that holds the inserts against the closed eyelids and keeps moisture in. A session runs 20 to 25 minutes at 102 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The Beads are the option with no reset step between uses, while the Instants hold their heat and are boiled afterwards to recharge. The same goggle and inserts can be chilled in the freezer and worn as a cold compress.
Materials
Sodium acetate The contents of the Thermoeyes XL Instants gel packs. It crystallises when the internal steel disc is clicked, and the crystallisation releases heat.
Glycerin The contents of the Thermoeyes XL Beads gel packs, which are heated in the microwave.
Foam The black moisture inserts and the outer eye cushion attached to the plastic eye covers.

How to Use
Clean the face and eyelids to remove all dirt before use.
Warm use with the Beads:
- Place the Beads in their fabric pockets and put them in the mesh wash bag.
- Microwave the Beads in 1 cup of water for 45 seconds.
- Let stand for 1 minute, then place inside the goggle.
Warm use with the Instants:
- Activate a gel pack by clicking the disc inside it back and forth until it starts generating heat.
- Place the gel packs inside moistened fabric pockets, then insert them into the goggle.
- Boil the gel packs after each use for 2 to 3 minutes to reset them.
Place the goggle over closed eyes and wear it for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cold use: insert the Beads or Instants with fabric pockets into the back of the goggle, place the goggle in a self sealing plastic bag, leave it in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes, then wear over closed eyes for 15 minutes.
Overnight use: the goggle can be worn with the moistened black foam inserts in place to raise the humidity around the eyes.
Care and Cleaning
Hand wash the black foam inserts and the white fabric pockets with mild soap and warm water after each use. Rinse well, squeeze out extra moisture and air dry in the mesh wash bag.
Wash the plastic eye covers with foam as needed.
Replace the foam components periodically, typically after 60 uses.
