About the Product

A reusable contoured eye mask filled with ThermaBeads, supplied with a machine washable fabric slipcover and an adjustable elastic strap. The mask is latex free.

This is the reusable hot and cold compress category. For warm use the mask is heated in a microwave for 20 seconds on high and worn over the closed eyes for 3 to 5 minutes. For cold use it is placed in a sealable plastic bag in the freezer for 30 minutes and worn for 5 to 7 minutes. It is not applied for more than 20 minutes at a time.

How to Use

Warm use

1. Ensure the mask is at room temperature before heating.
2. Insert the mask into the protective slipcover, which is optional, and place it on a microwave safe dish.
3. Set microwave power to high and heat for 20 seconds.
4. Test the mask temperature with your fingers before applying it to your eyes. If more heat is needed, heat in 5 second increments to a maximum of 30 seconds total.
5. Place the mask over closed eyes and secure it with the adjustable strap.
6. Wear for 3 to 5 minutes, or as directed by an eye care professional.

Cold use

1. Insert the mask into the protective slipcover, which is optional, and place it in a sealable plastic bag.
2. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
3. Remove from the freezer, place the mask over closed eyes and secure it with the adjustable strap.
4. Wear for 5 to 7 minutes, or as directed by an eye care professional.

Care and Cleaning

Mask. Hand wash only in cold water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Gently squeeze out excess water and do not twist. Lay flat on a clean, ventilated surface for a minimum of 24 hours or until fully dry. Wash immediately if exposed to food, oils, grease or other dirt.

Slipcover. Machine wash in warm water on a regular cycle with like colors, using regular detergent. Machine dry on low heat.

Dispose of the mask if it is punctured or broken.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not apply for more than 20 minutes at a time.
• Always test the mask temperature with fingers prior to use on eyes.
• Overheating or prolonged application may cause injury.
• Overheating in a microwave may damage the mask.
• Do not boil.
• Do not ingest contents.
• Do not fall asleep using the mask.
• Do not use on infants.
• Do not apply to sensitive skin, skin with no sensation, or open wounds.
• Dispose of the mask if punctured or broken.
• Individuals with diabetes, circulation disorders or skin infections should consult a doctor before use.

Storage

Store the mask in a cool dry place. Keep away from flames.
