About the Product

Sensitive Eyes Saline Solution is a sterile, isotonic, buffered solution supplied in a 12 fl oz bottle. It contains boric acid, sodium borate, potassium chloride and sodium chloride, and is preserved with polyaminopropyl biguanide (0.00003%) and edetate disodium (0.025%).

It is a contact lens rinsing saline, for rinsing soft (hydrophilic) and gas permeable contact lenses after cleaning and before lens insertion, and it may also be used to rinse a lens case. It is never to be used for lens disinfection, and should be used as part of your recommended contact lens care routine alongside a separate disinfecting solution.

Specifications

How to Use

1. After cleaning, hold the lens between your thumb and forefinger or place it in your palm.
2. Direct a steady stream of Sensitive Eyes Saline Solution onto both sides of the lens for at least 5 seconds, until all traces of the cleaning solution are removed.
3. For rigid gas permeable lenses, rinse the lenses with Sensitive Eyes Saline Solution after cleaning.
4. For soft contact lenses, rinse with Sensitive Eyes Saline Solution after disinfecting with either a multi-purpose solution or a hydrogen peroxide system, before lens insertion.

Warnings

• Never to be used for lens disinfection. This solution is not a disinfectant and should be used as part of your recommended contact lens care routine.
• Never re-use this solution.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store at room temperature and keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Use before the expiration date printed on the carton and bottle.
