Optase Allegro Preservative-Free Lubricant Eye Drops (10mL)

About the Product

Optase Allegro is a preservative free ophthalmic lubricant solution in a 10 mL bottle. The active ingredient is hydroxyethyl cellulose 0.35 percent, an eye lubricant. The inactive ingredients are citric acid, ectoin, purified water, sodium chloride and trisodium citrate dihydrate. The formula contains no alcohol and no preservatives, and the bottle should be used within 3 months from opening.

This is the lubricant eye drop category, used as needed during the day. It can be used with contact lenses.

Uses

For use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation. May be used as a protectant against further irritation. To relieve dryness of the eye.

Citric Acid, Ectoin, Purified Water, Sodium Chloride, Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate.

How to Use

Put one or two drops in the affected eyes as needed.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
2. Check the tamper evidence seal is intact before first use, then tear off and discard the seal and remove the protective cap.
3. Tilt your head backwards and gently pull the lower eyelid downwards while looking up.
4. Put one or two drops directly into the lower conjunctival sac, without touching the eye, the eyelids or any surface with the tip of the bottle.
5. After use, shake the bottle downwards in order to remove any residual drop that may be left.
6. Replace the protection cap on the nozzle head after each use.

Warnings

• For external use only.
• If solution changes color or becomes cloudy, do not use.
• To avoid contamination, do not touch tip to any surface.

Stop use and ask a doctor if:

• You feel eye pain.
• Changes in vision occur.
• Redness or irritation of the eye lasts.
• Condition worsens or lasts more than 72 hours.

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.

Storage

Store at 36 to 77 F (2 to 25 C). The bottle should be used within 3 months from opening.
