About the Product

The D.E.R.M. Dry Eye Relief Mask is a reusable microwavable compress filled with silica beads, which draw moisture from the surrounding air and release it as moist heat once the mask is warmed. This version is the mask on its own. The box contains the D.E.R.M. mask and its use and care instructions, and no cotton liners are included.

This is the warm compress category, used over closed eyelids as part of a regular at home eyelid routine. The mask heats in 20 seconds in a 1000 watt microwave and is worn for up to 10 minutes, or as directed by your eye doctor. Heating it with a moistened cotton liner, sold separately, extends the warm portion of the session, and the same mask can instead be chilled in the freezer and used as a cold compress.

How to Use

1. Moisten the cotton liner, squeeze out the excess water, and place it over the back of the compress.
2. Place the compress in the microwave and heat on high. 500 watt microwave, 25 seconds. 1000 watt microwave, 20 seconds. 1500 watt microwave, 15 seconds.
3. Test the temperature before application.
4. Wear up to 10 minutes or as directed by your eye doctor.

For cold use, place the compress in a sealable plastic bag and freeze it for 30 minutes, then apply for 5 to 7 minutes.

Care and Cleaning

Damp wipe the mask as needed and air dry.

Cotton liners are single use. Discard the liner after each use.

Warnings

Do not drive, operate machinery, or attempt to walk around while using this product. Discontinue use if you experience any eye or skin irritations.
