Description
D.E.R.M.™ Dry Eye Relief Mask – Moist-Heat Therapy for Mild Dry Eye
Product Summary
The Dry Eye Relief Mask (D.E.R.M.™) is a moist-heat compress designed to provide immediate relief for mild dry eye symptoms. Clinical studies have shown that 50% of dry eye patients experience mild symptoms, which can be effectively managed with a simple five-minute moist-heat treatment.
D.E.R.M.™ is hypoallergenic, reusable, and easy to use. It contains Silica beads that naturally absorb and release moisture when heated in the microwave. This helps soothe irritated, dry, and fatigued eyes. For extended relief, complimentary cotton liners are included, which can be moistened before heating to provide up to 7-9 minutes of soothing heat therapy.
For moderate to severe dry eye, longer treatment times of 10-20 minutes are recommended. In these cases, Tranquileyes® or Tranquileyes XL® may be a better option for both immediate and long-term relief.

Understanding Dry Eye
Dry Eye Syndrome is a common ocular condition that occurs when the tear film is disrupted. It can be caused by environmental, lifestyle, or health-related factors. There are two primary types of dry eye:
- Aqueous Deficient Dry Eye – The eyes do not produce enough tears.
- Evaporative Dry Eye – Tears evaporate too quickly due to Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).
Approximately one-third of patients experience a combination of both types, leading to overlapping symptoms, including:
- Watery eyes
- Redness and irritation
- Blurred vision
- Stinging or burning sensation
- Gritty or sandy feeling in the eyes
For best results, we recommend using D.E.R.M.™ alongside a Gentle or Anti-Aging Tea Tree Eyelid & Facial Cleanser™ for a complete eyelid hygiene routine.
